Before reaching olakaruvi falls you have to walk for 20 minutes to reach the falls.

Sastha Temple is located 10 kilometer from Rajapalayam. On the way to sastha temple you can visit lord shiva temple at devadhanam a very old temple and also known as "vahu sthala".  There will more devotees visiting the temple on "prathosam" very special day for Lord Shiva. You can see Dam and "coconut thottam" on the way, after certain limit forest department people want let our vehicles inside they will provide us van. They will charge some amount for the ticket and it 5 minutes travel.
